Market Recap: ICEX Spot Diamond 1 CT prices fell on Monday and closed at ₹3346 levels down by 0.27 percent. Consequently, the ICEX 1 CT diamond (Apr) futures prices edged lower during Monday’s trading session and closed at ₹3298 levels down by -0.06 percent. Moreover, ICEX spot diamond 0.5 CT prices fell on Monday and closed ₹1492 levels down by -0.27 percent. Similarly, ICEX 0.5 CT diamond (Apr) futures prices moved lower during yesterday’s trading session and closed at ₹1507 levels.
The dollar fell against a basket of currencies on Tuesday as investors covered short positions amid jitters about a global trade war due to U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to impose steel and aluminum tariffs. The dollar index is currently trading at 89.91 levels.
The Indian rupee spot appreciated by 0.17 paise and to close at ₹65.05 levels against the US dollar (USD) on Monday trading session. Indian Rupee spot is currently trading at ₹64.976 levels.
